• Replaced the Big Picture configurator in desktop mode with a windowed view of the new Configurator. This currently only applies to desktop mode on Steam Deck.

• Fix bug w/ renaming "Move By Amount" mouse bindings
  
• Fix action set layers not carrying through Gamepad triggers outputs from button bindings

So we made a book about Steam Deck!

In preparation for Steam Deck launching in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, we wanted to introduce our new customers to Valve, Steam, and Steam Deck. So we made a small book – it’s about 50 pages, and we’ve translated it into Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and English.

The book includes:

• Background on Valve and our philosophy around creating products and hardware to make our customers happy
  
• An overview of Steam, how it came to be, and where it is now
  
• The story of Steam Deck, how we designed it, and why we built it the way we did
  
• Information about our collaboration with Komodo to launch in these new regions
  
• Tons of pretty pictures of Steam Deck, prototypes, games, and more

We wrote, designed, and translated this book in-house, and now we’re making it available for everyone to download. It's available on Valve's publications page, or you can download it directly from the links below.

Steam Deck production has continued to outperform our estimates, and we are updating shipping windows for the Steam Deck reservation queue! This means a bunch of folks who had an estimated order window of Q4 (Oct-Dec) have been moved up to the Q3 window, and can expect to receive their email by the end of September. You can check your reservation window status here (while logged in).
